Cookies and "local storage" are small bits of data a website saves in your browser. Here's exactly what VAULT GG uses and why. 🍪 Change my cookie choice

1. Needed for the site to work (always on)

• Google sign-in (Firebase Auth): keeps you logged in. Stored in your browser's IndexedDB.
• vault_device: a random ID used only to stop one person farming rewards with lots of accounts. We store it scrambled (hashed) on our side. Not used for ads.
• vault_consent: remembers your cookie choice.
• vault_ref: remembers whose invite link you used, so you both get the invite reward.
• vault_age_block: remembers if this browser failed the 13+ age check, so the age rule can't be dodged.
• Stripe: sets its own cookies on the checkout page to process the payment and prevent fraud.

2. Preferences (always on, stay on your device)

• vault_muted, vault_music_muted, vault_splash_seen, vault_hide_announce, vault_spooky_off, vault_popups (popups you already saw), vault_recent_people (players you picked recently) and install-app reminders. They only remember your settings and never leave your device.

3. Banner ads (Google AdSense)

We show ads from Google. Google may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same one, and stop ad fraud.

• Allow all: if you're a confirmed adult (18+), Google may personalize ads based on your interests.
• No ad tracking: we only ask Google for non-personalized ads (no interest profile). Google may still use cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
• Under 18, age not confirmed, or signed out: always non-personalized, whatever you pick.
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as "No ad tracking" automatically.
• EU / UK / Switzerland: Google also shows its own consent popup.

3b. "Watch & earn" video ads (AppLixir)

If you choose to watch a reward video for free coins, the video comes from AppLixir, a video-ad company, which loads only when you press the button and may use its own cookies to play and count the ad.

4. No other trackers

No analytics trackers, no Facebook/TikTok pixels, no data brokers. Our font is hosted on our own server, so loading the site doesn't send your IP to a font company.

5. Clearing them

You can delete cookies and site data anytime in your browser settings. You'll be signed out and your on-device settings reset.
